The Next American Idol

So anyone who knows the Haroldsen family knows that things get a little crazy when we get together. Let me say things have not changed.

So we've been watching American Idol and have been very impressed with some of the contestants. We than decided to have our own try out. We took it very seriously.

We dressed in our best.

Jenn even tried some sweet new glasses to try to make it.

And we gave it our all!

At the end of the night we stuck. Who was the American Idol? We all wanted it and worked hard for it. So now it up to you. You choose. Go to the bottom of the blog and cast you vote. Kat, Austin, Jenn, or Me. Choose wisely. Our future depends on it.

How Blessed I Am

You know those moments in your life when you realize just how blessed you are? I just had one. I am a healthy, 21 year old man that has many thing going for me..... I have wonderful support from my amazing family and friends.... I have the true gospel in my life which has blessed me more than anything... the list goes on. I am so blessed. Sometimes I complain about this or that or take certain things for granite like my ability to walk, or talk, or see. Other things like a warm bed, a clean bathroom, or food to eat. Or even loving brothers and sisters, supporting parents, and kind friends. I say this so we can all remember how blessed we are in all situations. I challenge all of you to take some time and make a list of good things in your life, weather it be in your head or on paper. Then give thanks to all those who provided you with a great life or helped ypu get there. Everyone has great lives. Once you do this keep that list in mind as you go through out your life. Remember how blessed you are and I promise you your life will continue to improve. Focus on the good till you can't see the bad. I love you all!

I GAVE IN

Well, It's me. I gave in. I'm joining the bloging world. The past couple weeks I have had the oppurtunity to go visit my Sisters, in Georgia, revisit my misson in Florida, and run around New York City with my Bro. It's been a fun month. To catch some of you up..I have been home from my mission (Tampa, Florida) sence September. I loved my mission. I know, cliche right. I really did love it though. Sence I've been home I have had some problems figuring out what to do with my life. I am happy to let everyone know that I am waiting to hear from BYU Provo and hoping to study Psychology starting this summer. I'm really excited so hopefully i'll get some good news in the coming weeks. Whatever happens though I am planning to move to Utah by the middle of April. As for now I'm just working (trying to earn back all the money I just spent on my trip), Working, and working.
